The Elementaita Bootcamp
From November 11th to 14th 2021, at the serene Seasons Elementaita Country Lodge, we bring together youth from across the country and beyond to explore the concept of leadership, discover our own and others’ leadership styles, ask captains of industry what it takes, and ultimately come out better leaders than we thought we were.
What is RYLA?
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is a youth program created by Rotary Internation that seeks to provide young adults aged 14-30 with an opportunity to develop their skills and character while exposing them to Rotary’s values of service, high ethical standards, and peace. It is organized at the club, district, or multi-district level.

The RYLA Experience
Knowing others is intelligence, knowing yourself is true wisdom, mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power. The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards training workshop (RYLA) is an annual leadership event organized by the Rotaract clubs in the district where members develop skills while having fun, developing networks, and making lasting relationship. The main focus geared towards upgrading the skills in the school of leadership development comprises teamwork and communication skills, new friendships and connections, professional development opportunities, and a platform to collaborate through community impact.
This year’s experience of RYLA will take place at Lake Elementaita in Nakuru in the month of November, we are looking forward to the first-class experience by promoting understanding and goodwill through action.
